Its 9:30 on a thursday night and you’re not tuning in to NBC to watch the top comedy series currently on television? Well shame on you because you are missing out on one spectacularly funny program. Don’t believe me, ask Emmy. The show has been nominated for 22 Emmy awards, including best comedy series. And who could blame them, it is by far the smartest and most hilarious citcom on t.v. Its creator, star and co-writer, Tina Fey, is remarkable as Liz Lemmon, the amazingly insecure headwriter of the NBC skit-comedy show “TGS with Tracy Jordan.” And of course there’s Alec Baldwin, try and look pass the fact that he verbally assaulted his daughter a few years ago. There’s no doubting that he is a funny man. He plays insanely conservative NBC executive, Jack Donaghy who is never hesitant to remind Tina Fey’s character, Lemmon, of her imperfections. I could go on and on about just about every character on that show but I won’t. So anyway, obviously you don’t have to watch it, but I advise you to give it a shot because it’s original, witty, funny and surprisingly doesn’t have as many fans as you would think, not many people I know watch it, some people just don’t know good comedy.
